When I was listening to back years of Loveline after finding it through here, it took a few months of heavy listening to decide that unless I heard something awesome about an episode, or knew and liked the guests already - I was just going to skip any episode that wasn't just Drew/Adam. 90% of those people just rolled into the same z-list celebrity who nobody cared about after about 6 months, and had no clue as to what show they were even on.

I don't really get what all the complaints are about. I'm not familiar with this guy or his music, but I thought he was a pretty solid guest as far as non-comedians go.

Edit: I mean, I get not caring for the non-comedian guests in general, but I didn't think this guy was even close to being the worst of them.

I retract my previous post, the guy from fun. at least put some effort into being the guest, and actually said more before he was introduced than some guests say all episode.

Trying to get Scott to bad mouth other comedians was really unprofessional and Scott clearly wanted no part of it. (Unless you're making fun of an all new Maron.)

Remember when he kept asking Scott about his marriage and Scott said "Well we can talk about this off mic if you want" but he kept pressing?

He wasn't an all-time worst guest or anything but he didn't come across great. I was glad he picked up Horatio's "It's a hospice" bit, though, Scott let that one go right by him.

It's 297 http://www.earwolf.com/episode/canadian-apparel/

It's kinda better if you don't know about the duck thing going into it though, the reveal killed me

I'm getting tired of Sanz. He's approaching Adomian levels of ubiquity. I have this image of him hanging around the Earwolf offices every day, asking "Hey guys, got anything I can do?"

Oh loving gross, that explains a lot. He was totally insufferable, I actually skipped a lot of the first segment because it was so awkward and gross with the marriage questions and then the stuff about hitting people.

Lol i dont like lenda dunham and i hate that song by Fun but this guy was a fine guest. He held his own and seemed to get it. Are you really worried that scott thought he was being "unprofessional" lmao or that he was being too awkward and gross on a show where the last episode was about a ghost 10 year old boy with a really long penis

scott aukerman has a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate questions and he doesn't find them funny in the least

btw how much money do you make

but yeah that post was hilarious, be less transparent about your wanting to insult lena dunham vicariously through her boyfriend

Scott's super uptight and private about his Real life and if it wasn't for who charted I think the whole of what we'd know about him is that he has a wife (his ex-girlfriend). He didn't even call kulap his wife in the early episodes.

I liked the guest exactly because he was asking questions in the way Scott does, it was funny. Also he was a lot better at dealing with characters than most musical guests are.

Yeah, I think that's part of what went wrong there. That ep was a total misfire but I still really liked it. Just Scott's frustration building and building. Also, I liked the corny grandpa's jokes.

Holy poo poo, James Adomian's Zizek is loving PERFECT. He is the greatest impressionist of our time.

If you've never heard Zizek, go check out some youtubes so you can appreciate the brilliance.

Seriously, the only flaw is that you can't hear him wiping his nose constantly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXVEnxtZe_w

finished the episode, i don't really think it was as much of a trainwreck as scott or people here thought. i enjoyed it.

He absolutely nailed it, as always. A shame Zizek is such a fringe personality that most of the real world has no idea about, I have a feeling it was lost on a lot of people. Seriously though just watch a few minutes of any of the Zizek Youtube videos, and see how brilliant it is.

Adomian as Zizek describing himself as an "evil muppet" almost killed me.
