Are you people who get confused by versions 0.1.0 vs. 0.10.0 also getting confused by the IP Addresses like 192.168.1.1 vs. 192.168.10.10 or is that okay instead?

I like the way Opera does versions. It starts with like 17.00 and goes 17.01, 17.02, ..., 17.98, 17.99 and then 18. actually they never went nowhere near as 17.99, they just jump to the next major version around .30 I think. so it's the best because it's still a decimal number and you don't need more than 99 minor revisions for your software anyway

i wrote a php thing for fun but realized I'd need to use a templating engine to secure & publish it and trying to port it was awful and I realized if I'd have to do this poo poo every day for a living I'd shoot myself in the mouth. (but that's because I'm so bad at it)
