I had the pleasure of trying to explain the words Height Length Width To some Deaf kids. Height was easy enough , from floor to top of the thing But length and width are trickier than you might assume. You have to establish the implicit "front" of an object and then determine the perpendicular from that plane for width and length, and even then it's not cut and dry. Tricky stuff when your native language doesn't do anything like that and just gives unlabelled direction

On a related note I'm reading https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Chaos And apparently the word bade (past tense of bid) does not rhyme with spade? There are multiple gods of the sun in ancient egypt, depending on the location since upper and lower egypt had different pantheons. Ra is the best known, but there's also Amon/Amun, Aten (during the monotheistic heresy), and Horus is the god of the morning. During the later years they would syncretize these together into single deities like Amon-Ra and Re-Horakhty.
