Also I think you're referring to the CX22 with the FPV screen which goes for 750$, as far as I know the CX20 does not have any FPV functionality apart from the Gopro mount so you can WiFi connect to one

Its usually a shrink ray or mind control device or super addictive cookies, which wouldn't be that odd in a more cartoony show, but when these things happen to teen girls in tight catsuits I can see a few wires getting crossed in a pubescent kid's brain. I'd say its more ignorance on the writers' part than any specific attempt to pander to fetishists.
