I have a half face respirator but gently caress if I would be able to wear that thing in public without feeling crazy. Wearing a surgical mask still turns heads in rural Tennessee.

854k cases worldwide. We're very close to hitting the point where we're adding 100k daily. 1 million by the weekend seems all but certain. 7 days ago on March 24th we had 422k cases worldwide. We have doubled our corona cases in only a week.

I was telling everyone that the USA would be lucky if we get out of this with under two million dead. It's not a hard figure to come by; estimates were that half the US population will get it, multiply that by the CFR. Judging by the fact that no one I told this to returned to America, I'm pretty sure they listened. I'm gonna make focaccia now
