I agree with Jean Jaques Roussaeu's stance on the issue. Civilization is good up to the point at which man becomes alienated from the fruits of his labor and his fellow man. We should strive to be like the noble savages of yore who led simple, virtuous lives in small village communities. So basically, you want enough civilization for basic food availability, medicine and safety, but if you get to the point where you have tumblrinas and the Tea Party you've gone too far.

Sort of maybe yes and no like civilization did a bunch of good things but I think with the knowledge and technology we have now we could revert to a nomadic pastoralist way of life that could be sustained for millennia and people might could be happier while still enjoying the benefits of medicine and communication. Like, why can't we scoot around in buggies and camp and put on plays?
