Alright some questions came up that I feel I need to address. 1) why is there no poll? a: I was very drunk and had just gotten to the end of a large jar of mixed nuts and it was all almonds at the end and I was pissed the heck off when I made this thread. I created it as a kind of gently caress YOU to the freaks over at the almond growers association, as it we're.

Obviously not so much if that's what you associate with them:  Because, y'know, the first ones are roasted, crispy, and flavored. And the second one is a plain, blanched unflavored nut so..yeah that's gonna suck unless you have some particular use-case for them ya dummie.

Walnuts and Brazil nuts rule, when they're bad it's because they're old and the fats in them are borderline rancid. Get them in the shells and age wrecks them less. Brazil nuts and black walnuts right off the tree are amazing. Worst nut is probably almonds, and even they aren't terrible.

While other nuts are all bad, the singular worst nut is the rancid weird pistachios that make it in because you go from the soaring heights of good pistachio to tongue stabbingly horrifying weird disintegrating thing.

A protein of your choosing for a few seconds and toss in some lightly or non salted cashews with the protein as it gets fired up, scorch them nuts. A dark green, maybe a broccoli rabe in a garlic/oyster sauce, remove that Set that aside. Toss some red peppers and onion with a little white wine vinegar and soy and sambel oelek and some green onion. Throw it all together at the end and then serve over the Jasmine rice? Bitch. You can do this all in your own kitchen this ain't ho-hot.
