I've always liked Enochian Crescent's Ghost of Saturn video. It fits the atmosphere of the song really well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPZGMqWqbyk

Close contender is Witches Dance which put Mercyful Fate on my radar, first as a complete joke but I love them and King Diamond now.

The first 30 seconds sounds cool as poo poo, then the goddman singing starts and ruins it all. Seriously when are prog bands gonna give up on that stupid cheesy singing style? Fuckin LaBrie ruined it for everyone.

Unleashed was amazing, and it always bugs me how no one really talks about them. Sure their sound wasn't ground breaking but they made a few drat fine albums.

That Type O' Negative video is ace, and the Portal "Curtain" video is great - probably the most eerie music video.

When I was like 17 this and Dissection's Storm of the Light's Bane rarely left rotation on my Winamp.

I'm pretty sure Storm of the Light's Bane and Where No Life Dwells are responsible for how much I love Kalmah.

Unleashed are one of the biggest Swedeath bands, are still going, and their first three albums are undisputed classics. People don't talk about them because there isn't really much more you can say/cover.

Yeah actually I've listened to them a lot (one of my kid's favorite bands). Never really watched a video though. Didn't keep up with the drama either, although I was disappointed to hear they broke up when it happened.

I heard "Where Dead Angels Lie" when I was like 14 and I thought, "this isn't my thing, but I'm going to like this eventually." I can probably only name another three or four songs that have had that effect on me in the fifteen years since.

No kidding. I didnt really know them until they played down the road and I figured why the hell not. It was like a cartoon show, there were nine of them on stage all going bananas with silly costumers, wearing vodka cannons and crowd-surfing as they did their solos. They are just all about the fun. They're completely unmixed raw clips with midi drums, and STILL they sound really goddamn promising somehow. Not gonna be the same without Heiman, but still.

Those clips have been there since at least 2012, man :( I think Heiman's gone for good, Wojtek knows it, and he's not going to release anything if the vocals aren't up to snuff. And considering that Heiman is in a Christian power metal band now, and Wojtek is very anti-religion... I don't think LH are going to release anything new.

Also, didn't even realize Harmony were Christian. Don't really care though, it's their utterly mediocre music that depresses me, though I only listened to one song from the previous album. Goddamnit Heiman, why can't you join an actually good band for gently caress's loving fucksakes.
