HA, Ultra Greed is hilariously awesome. Greed Mode is drat fun, though surprisingly easy to beat for me with only a moderately good item set I count 9 completion spaces on the character select screen. There were 6 in Rebirth, right? So that's one for Hush, one for Ultra Greed, and I guess one more that we don't know about yet?

He could have unlocks now. Okay, I beat Hush, and was I supposed to unlock the rest of the challenges at once? Also, how do you get endings 17 and 18. Beating Hush didn't count for those, apparently.

Just finished up a Lillith run that was very informative. She can use Epic Fetus like normal and the baby still shoots tears while you aim the missile. Also, Epic Fetus works with Monstros Lung now. It's a bit hard to use, but does huge amounts of damage. Each round of the boss rush fills your sacebar item but it also seems to trigger end of room effects like the Relic droping soul hearts. Additionally, each relic spawned by Lillith's box item can drop soul hearts so there were about 50 of them on the floor by the end of the boss rush.

Yeah, I also encountered the Chub gently caress closet, but thankfully it didn't end my run. I laughed really hard when it was over, and it gave me a new appreciation for how dangerous those small rooms can be. They're almost like curse rooms in terms of balancing risk/reward. You can't just run around willy nilly anymore in Basement/Caves/Depths. Mine had 4 chubs, though.

Oh no, one of the challenges is an escort mission!  You're a blindfolded Isaac with a sword thing. It's not Mom's Knife. But you have to protect the Issac's Heat familiar. Who is following the Punching Bag, not you.

Well final note on that greed mode donation machine. It seems to have capped out at 109 coins, every time I put a coin in it in future runs it just explodes instantly and is back to 109 the next.

For those wondering what the bottom 3 marks are for on the character select screen: Mega Satan, Greed Mode and Hush. Beating Mega Satan now unlocks co-op babies. Just unlocked the Black Baby by beating him with Azazel.

I tried Glass Cannon once while re-rolling the Chest. Do you still lose almost all your hearts if you hit something? I just fired randomly to see what it did. Also the Dunce Cap is bullshit. Right now it's Afterbirth's "Experimental Treatment" for me. Touched it once and never again.

To those wondering if the new womb boss scales to your damage: I just had an Azazel run with Mom's Knife, the new item that gives you X laser rings on every shot, Brimstone, Magic Mushroom, Guppymode and so on. Every enemy and boss in the game died in one attack. All of Mega Satan's phases died instantly. Hush still took about three minutes for me to kill, and left me at 1 heart from 6. It absolutely must scale to your damage. I can't imagine surviving a bullet hell fight like that for so long as the Lost, but I have Godhead and Ultra Greed beaten as him, so my completionist urges won't let me stop...

However it doesn't deal soul heart damage and you can use it with half a red heart or even only soul hearts. On a related note, I just beat Ultra Greed. Pretty decent boss fight although a fight against double trouble champion Mega Maws was the most difficult part of the run.

XXXXXXXXL challenge is pretty loving tedious, but right now I have Dad's Key and the AAA Battery trinket, so I'm skipping every other room. It's making things a bit better. Makes up for bombing the daily run where I picked up Soy Milk because I wasn't paying attention

In fact, I think the fight took about the same amount of time as other Hush fights I've seen. Maybe damage doesn't matter at all for it. It might be how many times you hit it.

Well having just had the most game breaking run possible in greed mode, I've come to the conclusion that the new super bosses cheat like hell. Nearly every single damage up in the game + brimstone + guppy + tammy's head and it still took about the same amount of time as all my other runs have. Atleast I got Lost's greed mode out of the way, now to figure out what the hell "the zodiac" does.

So, thanks to me getting Lillith when choosing random DESPITE ME NOT UNLOCKING HER, I just had one of the most brutal Boss Rushes I've ever witnessed. Sworn Protector + Dead Bird + Lil' Haunt + Box of Friends = me going through the new boss rush like a chainsaw through butter. So, yeah, I've unlocked Immaculate Conception without even touching Azazel on this save, or Greed Mode ever. I'll take it.

Hoo boy. I've gotten a few plays in and haven't finished anything yet. 3 Mom items = Mom transformation, which gives you a knife dragged behind you. Chaos! rearranges the item pools, maybe shuffling them all together. I'm getting Angel & Devil Room items from bosses and items from all pools in shops.

I just had two successful greed mode runs in a row with Eve and Sampson getting an attack fly type item and gnawed leaf. It was super cheesy but it allowed me to save my coins since I didn't need to upgrade my tears at all. Earlier I got a Bob transformation by getting Bob's rotten head, Bob's curse and Bob's brain. It gave a green trail following you like if you had anemia.

Oh yeah, they fixed the Dr. Fetus bug. It dealt way too low damage before (3 * Damage). Now it deals the proper amount, ((3 * Damage) + 50.) So it's a good item again. Finally.

Greed Mode is super weird right now and I look forward to balance changes. Getting IV Bag, ever, with any character except Blue Baby pretty much breaks it. You can always buy red hearts for 3 cents, and you're nearly guaranteed to get 3+ cents on every 2 plays of the IV Bag. So with just a slight amount of patience you can end up re-rolling the shop to get items that synergize with IV Bag like Swallowed Penny, Fanny Pack, Counterfeit Penny, etc. It took me about 45 minutes for the run total, but I killed Ultra Greed in 3 shots. So basically if you ever encounter a Blood Machine in Greed Mode you are nearly guaranteed a win. This reminds me of when Rebirth first came out and Krampus' Head was an I Win button. Playing through from the beginning again with all the balance changes they made over the past year was really fun, and I'll probably end up resetting my save again once Afterbirth gets a bunch of balance changes. poo poo's wacky right now. Started playing Isaac again a few weeks ago half in preparation, half because I just wanted to play again. Didn't think about it the past few days, so it was totally rad when I sat down at my computer and realized Afterbirth was already out. I've stayed mostly spoiler free so I was excited to run into a shop with 2 items I had never seen before. First one I picked up said "Double Item Vision" and I was like cool, I'll use, and then this happened.  I am excited, haven't even picked up the battery thing yet. Is it pronounced Lilith, or Lilith, or is it more like Lilith? I swear these streamers are doing it wrong but I can't prove it. But their way sounds stupid. But maybe that's because the correct pronunciation sounds stupid. I really want someone to figure out how to unlock box of friends. Lilith doesn't have much going for her without that.

Hey is Ending 17 broken? I've heard that you have to beat the Hush without taking either the polaroid or negative during the Mom fight, but I just did and the same sheol and cathedral opened up anyway. Am I doing something wrong or is it just busted?
