Actually, it's the opposite. In cultures where people wear masks, it's because there is a social stigma to do so. People don't wear the masks to prevent the spread of sickness, they wear it because if they come into work or get on the train sick but not wearing a mask, they'll get annoyed stares- Even though there's evidence showing that it doesn't actually prevent anything except maybe you getting your bodily fluids on someone else when you cough or sneeze or whatever. It's got nothing to do with vanity in other cultures.

I'm annoyed when people sneeze like giant retards in crowded areas yes, maybe do it in your shirt or something.

You do realize labs, hospitals, hospital rooms are sterilized for a reason, right? A sterilized, controlled environment =/= out in public.

That's not the same thing. Obviously you wear a mask around people whose bodies are open or lab samples where you don't want foreign matter getting in. When everyone is covered with skin, masks don't really help.

Aww that's cute! But I have zero idea how to put it to good use. Texting is easier and less wasteful, and who wants tiny receipts flying around? :/ Maybe in an alternate and whimsical universe.

Wearing properly fitted/cleaned out masks in a hospital environment, and where none of the people wearing the masks are themselves sick, is a way different scenario.

It's because the popular culture thinks it helps. They used to be common to wear in North America and western Europe at various times int he past too, but they died out quicker.

It's essentially a combination of peer pressure and superstition.

The real problem is that because the default is wearing a mask, people that don't wear masks tend to just loving hack and sneeze wherever they feel like, because apparently covering your nose or mouth with your hand is just weird I guess?

Need some help choosing a 23g pinner, non 2" variety.

Currently debating Cadex vs Grex. At first I thought Cadex had the upper hand due to it's ability to shoot headed pins (honestly not something that I'd really use) and the built in air blower (I might be putting WAY too much emphasis on this novelty).

But the guy on the sale floor was really pushing the Grex. Suggesting that BECAUSE the Cadex can take brad's, there the cylinder is slightly wider which has caused issues in the past. He sells both so don't know if he had alternative motives....

They are roughly the same price point, and I"m sure I'd be happy with both. Just looking for some anecdotal feedback. I have a Cadex owner and a Grex owner on my crew, and they both seem equally happy. I also might just save $60 and get the Hitachi, but it doesn't have a belt hook (again, a small novelty I'm putting too much emphasis on, but they are pretty handy and aftermarket alternatives are big and bulky).

Edit; for the sake of being different, I've also been looking at the 21g nailers from Cadex. I have yet to see one in the wild, and I can't just drop into the lumber yard to grab nails (they are readily available but I'd have to give myself a few days). But I've heard some guys rave about them.

Try backing the ask the hardware guys
