I know it expects multiple playthroughs but unless they're extremely different I may not bother. Easily worth £12 still. They're completely different to the point of just being essentially chapters and to the point the game straight up tells you "hey you didn’t beat it keep going". Stopping would be the equivalent of just getting to the end of disc 1 in a PS1 game and being "I'm good, thanks"

yoko taro is a mad genius he's now responsible for like 2-3 failed gacha games because he just takes the check and then writes some insane, incomprehensible poo poo and the monetization team struggles to build a game around it the entirety of Nier is insane, to get all the lore and back story you would have had to read an old google doc floating around in the 2010s of a fan translated source book, know about some random short stories, radio plays, some unique lore dropped at OST concerts, and then later he even wrote in major lore backstory to Nier in the Nier gacha as a time limited event. I see people calling Stellar Blade the next Nier but the online discourse around the game is so loving bizarre I'm not even gonna check into it until it gets a PC release.

the multi-week epilogue story to the ffxiv nier quests are great. everyone got mad because they wanted lore answers but it was actually yoko taro doing a yoko taro story but with dwarves. also the story split based off a binary choice, with the outcome being decided based on what the majority of the server decided to do. every single server made the same choice so we don't know what the other outcome was
