I love whenever someone mentions Forsberg's WJC point record, they have to also say that it's largely due to a 10-point game against Japan.

These are the two right teams in the gold medal game IMO i think Czechia is the only team that literally has not lost a game at all this tournament.

Prior to Bedard, the next most after Forsberg and Naslund was 18, right? Means that Forsberg would still be #1 even without that Japan game.

Forsberg was just a sensational player. If not for injuries he'd likely be top 5 in nhl scoring. He's 9th all-time in ppg at 1.25 and that includes a lot of post busted foot games.

I'm curious what chart they showed on TSN the other day, then.

TSN maybe using inaccurate date? Wouldn't be the first time...

I never learned how to skate, but I'm pretty sure I could've played goal in this game.

A Bedard goal denied by an offside call. Send the ref to jail.

Yeah that was definitely offside though. What was the hit the ref failed to call earlier?

So glad the Canucks ownership allowed a guy to trade the pick that become Guenther to save his job, then it didn't work so they fired that guy anyway and now we are stuck with the shittiest defenceman on earth forever instead of an electric young talent.

Bully save from Milic on that breakaway.

Czechia's only real chances were when Canada gave them the puck with open ice.

If it makes you feel better Jim Benning would have been making the pick and probably taken his version of Tyler Boucher

Still no bedard point, this is a fraud final. The Dirty Burger posted:If it makes you feel better Jim Benning would have been making the pick and probably taken his version of Tyler Boucher I would be fine with that because at least it wouldn't cost us $8m a year until 2027.
