A short final game would be really anticlimactic.

It needs to be a 3-5hr game to maximise the "oh this is the last run, last chance to donate" mentality.

The Undertale finale a few years ago was really good. I think it was sub 2hr.

I love KH speedruns so I'm down for this too.

Donated $50 for the first time. I finally have some disposable income (well only a little) from doing my commission work and felt like I should finally give something back.

Was only gonna donate $25 but I was tempted by the Bomb-omb Battlefield picture. I'll never get it but god I'd love that.

Yeah, Undertale was perfectly suited to be a short GDQ finale that is also immensely hype, thanks to its combination of fanatical fanbase and powerful feelgood energy. I'm hard-pressed to think of another game like it in that respect; longer games are generally going to be better suited as closers.

Maimai Finale. A crazy man plays a washing machine that is also a rhythm game, and possibly throws out his rotator cuff while doing so.

For once they're running long enough for me to be up and see the ending too.

From what I've seen, I've liked

Mega Man X race
Nintendogs
Ninja Gaiden
G'n'G Resurrection
Battletoads
La Mulana remake
Little Nightmares II
GeoGuessr
Arabian Nights
Racing Pitch

I haven't seen much over the weekend so there's a lot to VOD. Overall very solid runs, honestly there's so many more worth watching, but these were just my own favourites.'

e: The race for the superboss Sephiroth fight is going crazy. I haven't played any KH games but hopefully there'll be some One winged AngelSEPHIROTH

Easy "all of the silly block" suggestion, from Untitled Goose Game to Time Gate: Knight's Chase. Jazzpunk and Evolution Skateboarding are highlights.

Halo 2, Grand Theft Auto 3. Maimai, Bishibashi, Truth or Square.

I'll add Timeline to the above suggestions. Also definitely today's Mario 64 run, if you somehow missed it.

Timeline demonstrates just how amazingly broken save/load exploits are

The first few minutes of PARIS CHASE where he demonstrates how to win a drag race are the perfect encapsulation of the silly block

That was one of the most stacked GDQs I've ever seen, good lord

Some more runs to catch if just missed them!

PAPER MARIO STOP 'N SWOP if you wanna watch someone reprogram an entire video game console with their bare hands

DANCERUSH STARDOM if you want to see a man show off his legitimately sick dance moves with unreal endurance and enthusiasm

THE KAIZO MARIO BLOCK if you want to chill out with an excellent couch and some bullshit games

HALO 2 if you're curious about how to save time by punching a guy in the grundle five thousand times

GONE GOLFING if you'd just like to watch a nice game of golf that goes perfectly and with absolutely no problems whatsoever, honest

Doom Eternal DLC was nutty as well.

Bryonato losing his poo poo at a skip that saved like, 3 seconds was a personal highlight.

If I remember right, that Undertale run also helped to salvage the marathon's energy because right before it, the Super Metroid run turned really sour. It started with the audience doing Wario wahs along to the item collection fanfare for Every Single Pickup, before someone on the couch borrowed another guy's mic to tell everybody to walk outside and get hit by a bus.

Seconding this, especially "Let's Give Up". Fun gameplay, and the commentary and music were very good:

E: oh yeah, the Ninja Gaiden "pacifist" run. The game is insanely difficult under normal conditions, but the runner doesn't kill any enemies except bosses. It's nuts.
