Ishikawa Gobei. 20 hours later I realized it was a poor choice when the guy who's all about Goemon right down to getting his pipe as a weapon showed up. I suppose if I can rename the MC for NG+ I'd go with 'Akuji Dorobo' since it's the closest Japanese equivalent I could find for 'Nasty Crimeboy.'

When I played Persona 3 back in the day I kind of blanked on a name and ended up going with "Jarl Hancock", and ever since then they've all been Hancocks, with single-syllable first names starting with "Ja-". So Nasty Crimeboy is Jack Hancock.

Once you establish a route to the treasure, you'll be told that you have to send the calling card on a specific day, so you don't need to worry about losing time for finishing it early or anything.

Figuring which "medium" physical skill is actually stronger can be annoying. I ended up judging by "no ailment attached/learned later = stronger" which is probably fine but if I'm wrong I'd have no decent way of knowing.

Persona 4 has taught me that you cannot think of it like that That game will happily let you pick a Magician card in shuffle time and go "Blade of Fury has been upgraded to Deathbound!", even though Deathbound is a downgrade from Blade of Fury in literally every imaginable way E: Okay Deathbound is 10% more likely to inflict Dizzy if it crits, hits a weakness, or just hits an enemy that's already down, but other than that Instant Grat fucked around with this message at 22:01 on May 16, 2017 |

Oh hey I found the guy who trades model guns for gatchapon. I can't believe they made Daisoujou a common pull, this is bullshit. Everyone I know who played Nocturne hung onto that guy practically all game.

Starting to feel the time crunch now (I'm a couple days before the school trip). Star (3), Hanged Man (1), Devil (3), Moon (8) & Fortune (7) are probably getting bumped from the Confidant checklist to make sure I don't get barred by a stat gate at an inopportune time. Party members get priority, followed by Death, Hierophant, Sun and Temperance. Tower hasn't shown up yet, but it'll have to be drat good to earn a spot. (Or be a requirement for fusing Yoshitsune )
