The tweeter placement on about 99% of installs like this is just a case of "where can we fit them?" rather than any logical placement and it's really annoying. There's enough in that van to at least attempt a mini line array setup even if it's just for looks. Olympic Mathlete fucked around with this message at 12:01 on Mar 15, 2015 |

What I find impressive about this is that even though the Supra is clearly modified, including removing the wipers and mirrors to get the drag down, a supercar from nearly three decades ago is still not giving it an easy time. Still, anything that'll crack 200mph despite being based on a pretty normal production car that is itself 25 years old is also not bad in the slightest! And it's on banking, too, so there's probably more to be had given a long enough flat run...

It loses some but maybe only a mile an hour or two. You need to get to like 230 plus to start losing the effectiveness of the bank, that's why you can take your hands off the wheel driving up there. If you watch an incar from a stock car or Indycar they actually turn the wheel more on the straights, due to the setup. If anyone plays iRacing and does the oval stuff you'll see what I mean. It's disconcerting the first time you race a counterclockwise banked oval and only turn the wheel to the right. Seizure Meat fucked around with this message at 15:53 on Mar 15, 2015 |
