I'm starting to really pick up more 2-star covers. My 1-star Iron Man and Black Widow are all I have left, but I only need a few more HP to unlock 3 slots (which I plan to blow on 3-star Quicksilver, 2-star Black Widow, and 2-star Torch). Should I hold onto 1-star Iron Man (with all his covers I could theoretically level him up a bunch) and Black Widow (the 5-turn stun is pretty nice) for DPD's 1-star mission, or should I ignore that and continue climbing. Edit: Alternatively if 1-star Juggernaut is better than Iron Man and Black Widow I have enough covers where I could load up on him, just curious what you guys would advise. I think you can beat the 1 star dpd with any fully levelled 1 star, I use spider-man (I also use him for the 2 star waves)

Yeah any 1* solo shouldnt have much trouble with that DPD round, my lvl 38 Iron man does fine and I havent cared to finish leveling him up haha.

I think the reason people use Juggernaut is because he's never come up in the 1* DPD match as an opponent before, whereas guys like Iron Man and Spiderman have (which would lock you out of playing that round if you don't have another 1*).

I just started really playing two days ago, but thanks to the Mystique event I feel like I'm in pretty good shape: https://mpq.gamependium.com/rosters/Atoramos/ Slowly working my way through the prologue to finish up Thor, Storm, and Juggernaut. I still get creamed whenever I check out versus mode, I keep getting matchups with level 50+ characters and cycling through hasn't been so helpful. Getting there, though.

Wow I just beat the 4* dpd node for the first time ever with only 2 yellow IW covers, it's finally happening! Took a few tries and I boosted 100% match damage and 50% one of her other colors (not blue, obviously) and 2 yellow AP. All I did was be mindful of the invisibility tile while I systematically took out the locked team up tiles and try my best to gently caress up potential blue matches on my turn. You can have more than one invis tile at a time if you're like me and have to match away one of them on your turn, otherwise save your yellow for when he gets lucky and zaps your tile. Quicksilver managed to blow me up once, but I had enough health to take one hit like that with a couple hundred remaining. Made it by the skin of my teeth, and got my venom to 0/1/2.

Yeah the closest I got to beating him was getting him to 1000 health left. He then somehow got Fists of Fury 4 rounds in a row and killed me. I will not be trying again. The worst part is that tomorrow I get a daily reward of a Green IW cover, which would have made a hell of a big difference.

So just started had some survey points to drop I'm looking at 3 star colossus classic 3 star cyclops uncanny 2 Hawkeye modern 2 ares dark avengers 2 Steve Rogers 2 magneto marvel now 2 bullseye dark avengers 2 captain America ms marvel 2 daken dark avengers 2 Thor (from the story) 1 star spiderman, storm, Thor, black widow from story Most the 2 stars seem eh outside of ares,Thor and maybe marvel? Am I missing something on the other people? Do you want to leave one person at 1 star or do you need 3? I'm actuality digging iron man

Marvel works well with Storm and Magneto to fill out the unused colors so you're not wasting matches. Her yellow is a decent board shake and her black hits pretty well over the entire team.

Steve is OK for survival nodes at 3/5/5, once you've got enough red/blue to throw shields you can keep on doing them for a cost of essentially 1AP a time.

I got 25CP login bonus and my IW legendary token from DPD this weekend, got a Silver Surfer Blue finally and a Amadeus Hulk cover. Nick Fury and IW are at the front of the DPD 4* challenges loop if I recall, so the older 4* chars are coming up for the next ones... It's usually pretty consistent that the DPD's Vault's 4* char challenges, at least one of them, will be the 4* event for that vaults duration. So most likely 4* Wolvie is next, which would be cool since I might have enough covers to win that for once now heh.

Green is real good though, but that looming risk of getting a duplication right now isnt worth it haha.
