Puts the complaints I saw made by some after the 2021 draft of “why are you drafting young projects and depth you should be all in on day 1 contributors idiot!” into perspective. And hey he has ALL of camp and preseason to get ready to be the starter so that’s something.

I blew out my ACL in college (playing capture the flag), and have had surgery on it twice. I got the same lectures about time and diagnosis, and I'm no one special. That being said, it's fair to question what catastrophic knee injury isn't some sort of ACL / MCL / meniscus / Really Bad Thing with a long recovery time.

Well an MCL tear sucks but since it’s July it means he can be back in September having not missed more than a couple games if it’s the usual 6-8 weeks recovery. ACL tear means he’s done.

I really like the DK contract. If the current rebuild doesnt work out in the next 2 years the next regime can still flip him for picks with 1 year remaining on the contract. He also gets to have a chance at FA at age 27 which is pretty sweet for him. The real question I have is can the Seahawks actually evaluate and coach up talent? cause the last 5-6 years have been pretty rough in the aggregate and Russell WIlson was covering for a lot of a weak roster

I'm not sure that the Jaguars are surrounding Trevor Lawrence with the best coaching. coordinator Press Taylor, quarterbacks coach Mike McCoy, and passing game coordinator Jim Bob Cooter Didnt McCoy flame out really bad and Jim Bob Cooter was mediocre at best as the OC of the Lions?

Jim Bob Cooter was a name I vaguely recall being mentioned for positive reasons at one point years ago. Maybe it when the Lions had a run of a few games during one season, but I can’t remember when, or how much credit he deserved for it. Also, I can’t discount it being in large part due to people just wanting to say the name Jim Bob Cooter.
