What are the chances that this guy has actually asked about missing a single day so he can take his epileptic son to the doctor vs. just throwing his hands up and going “can’t miss class, oh well”

Feelgood posted:What are the chances that this guy has actually asked about missing a single day so he can take his epileptic son to the doctor vs. just throwing his hands up and going “can’t miss class, oh well” I mean even if he did, if the outcome was "you're going to have to drop out and get a job", then yeah, that sucks, but you hosed up by bringing a life into the world. If the guy even had the attitude of "I know it's my responsibility, but if I can just get through the next year of classes, my income will be vastly better than if I dropped out now" I would be somewhat empathetic. But instead it's just "yeah man, he's not really my problem, I'm fulfilling my dream and not letting this kid get in the way."

He barely even talks about the kid. His post is mostly focused on forking over money to his ex and how that sucks since he's a broke rear end college student. As if child support is more about debt owed to a jilted lover rather than supporting the child itself.

He sucks for a multitude of reasons, but the biggest one is by far him acting like all of this just happened to him and he had no part in or responsibility towards it Plus yeah uh I've taken a bunch of college classes and I have not once, ever, had a professor who would say no if you spoke to them during office hours and asked in advance for time off for your sick child The man should be killed imo e: oh yeah also him saying "I do what I'm required to!! That's all THE LAW says I have to!" When he'd be bitching and moaning constantly if he got taken to court and made to pay more Plus, let's go at it this way: he keeps saying he's a poor college student who just doesn't have the money to take care of his child, and how much do you think his gaming PC costs Blade Runner fucked around with this message at 20:15 on Apr 2, 2019 |

What's the point of writing such a boring and pointless story, even if it is true? Seems really red pilly or something. Probably because the woman is a villain for no reason and the guy is just so pure hearted.

If you're dating someone who is paranoid you're a secret gay, dump them. Doubly if they want you to get "treatment" for it.

My dad was also one of the 'do the bare minimum' type of dads, and not surprisingly we have a virtually nonexistent relationship. That's what is in store for that dad, assuming he even cares later on. These types of dads also tend to be the most outspoken MRA types as well, trying to play the victim while screwing over their own family.

It's always the same pattern. -lovely dad puts in minimum effort, often actually below the legal minimum effort. -Dad is outright cruel and nasty to child, child wants nothing to do with him, begs mother to stop sending them to the once a week agreed upon day. -Dad is totally happy to get out of having to see his kid once a week and doesn't fight it or lift a finger for any sort of visitation rights. -Dad doesn't even bother to remember birthdays or any sort of events, if mom and child don't make an effort years can go by without contact. Got a friend who will complain rooms are "running out of air" if he's anywhere without windows and a closed door for longer than 5-10 min. Like the moment he notices there's 4 people in this 10x10 storage room and the door is closed he's go on about how its hard to breathe. I'm guessing it's more of a claustrophobia type panic reaction. Dude can't even have a blanket over his face or anything remotely covering his face because he'll "suffocate" and thinks if you sleep with even a think blanket covering your mouth you'll get brain damage from CO poisoning.

That is absolutely a claustrophobic panic attack. The only way you're going to notice any kind of change in the CO2 content of a room that size with 4 people is if you're in there for several days and every single opening is totally sealed so the room is airtight.
