The flowery Grandma's-sofa-print underwear that showed up in here a few weeks back are actually pretty nice. I understand they're made well and fit true to size (per the size chart). Also available in leopard print if you're worried that the flowers are emasculating.

From what I understand, they're really surprisingly comfortable, considering. And arrived in the U.S. after only two weeks!

I bought a bunch of cheap erasable pens, of the same brand that I bought locally. They were fine and worked identically to the local/"real" ones, but they very clearly had about a quarter of the ink in their cartridge.

Just something to keep in mind! That's still totally fine for a lot of uses. I've just never actually ran out of ink in a pen before.

There’s a dedicated Dashcam thread you might have luck with - https://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3597215

I only paid about $30 for mine on Amazon (an Aukey) so there might not be a huge advantage to getting from Ali. It’s not the best thing ever, if you want good night vision and being able to make out plates then you’ll need to get something actually good rather than super budget.

I really like the YI brand of cameras:

The video quality is good, the app surprisingly doesn't suck and they ship from different continents (so, fast delivery)

I have this one sitting on my shelf since April (what's the point of installing it on an unused car?)

I'm looking for adhesive paper I can use for masking parts of a page while inking/painting the rest. Basically like a post-it, but the sticky bit is spread over the whole page, so I can cut it into shapes. Not sure if that exists, or what it's called.

Damnit. My shipment of awesome resin dyes was cancelled. I do not know if that means it was on a plane, ready to depart, but the flight was cancelled or if they cancelled it and are hoping I won’t notice the crafting stuff that I should not be spending money on never arrived so they can keep my 30 bucks.

I sent them a message asking if they are going to attempt to send it again. I can’t find resin dye anywhere else that acts the same way. (If I had a decent camera, I would take pictures that show the awesomeness of this dye. And yes, it does act. Kind of fizzing without air bubbles)

I was inspired by you guys and ordered some knockoff Legos for cheap. Cool, right? Especially since some of them arrived very quickly!

So, uh, I got a 1000+ piece Stitch thing from here.

I'm doing my best to decipher the instructions and I think I'll be okay, but the pieces came in three bags (numbered) and I don't know how to look up what is what.

Any help? :unsmith:

Erm... I've seen those pictures of disassembled pistols that are "print on tin plate" in the fine print, and these go for :10bux:. But now I'm seeing "replica" pistols that appear to be actual pistols. These go for $120 and up. .45 semiautomatic, .38 bulldog revolver and a ppk.

Are they really selling weapons now? There's no mention of print, non functioning, toy or anything that would indicate it's not a real pistol. I can't imagine they're of anything but lovely quality, but still.

Anyone take the plunge on one of these?

I asked the seller about the canceled shipment and they said it was cancelled by accident. I’m tempted to put quotes around that, but I haven’t seen any indication that they are shady, so I guess I’ll take them at their word.

Without seeing the link, I am going to guess two things:

1) They won't actually chamber a real round of ammunition - either due to being different dimensions or missing some key components.
2) If you managed to modify them so they will, you would quickly discover they are made of pot metal and pulling the trigger would cause them to explode in your hand in a hilarious, Wile E Coyote way.

However, good luck explaining that to your local ATF/Customs officer.

It's probably just airsoft stuff. Can't tell if you don't post any of the links or images.

Alibaba proper was listing 80% AR15 receiver forgings/paperweights a few years back but they seem to have cracked down on that, or at least just told companies to stop directly advertising them.
