I would buy those shoelace things if they were in a store for a reasonable price. I also buy shoes without laces, but it limits my style selection dramatically.

Wait. I can vaguely understand wanting to have a conveniently portable kite or whatever, those can be fun. But a jacket? Wouldn't taking it off to use leave you windy and cold since you're suddenly without a jacket? And conversely, if it's warm enough out to not need one why would you be wearing it to have handy anyway?

That shoelace one is so funny. Actual shoe companies spend tens of thousands of dollars designing shoes and pairing the laces, nerds replace them with ugly rubber bands. Kickstarter's become this weird internet barometer - the internet loves #lifehacks and gimmicks more than anything. I wonder which Kickstarted live & die based off of their video production skills. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stillalive/polygons-the-flat-4-in-1-measuring-spoon?ref=home_popular FLAT! FOLDING! SPOONS! 500k! For the people out there who use a filing cabinet instead of a utensil drawer, I guess? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/981522197/argonauts-the-dawning-a-multi-tier-3d-board-and-ca?ref=category_ending_soon The most stock-footagest video and a crazy elaborate looking board game.
