It was pricier than the ones being advertised, but it was a flash deal with free two day shipping Plugged it in, it was 480p

Pulled the trigger on some paint by numbers from AE today; stuff that I know is not licensed by the artists to be resold. I don't particularly like the licensed PBN kits on offer in stores and online so I went with things I'd rather put up on my wall when I'm done than just complete and stick in a drawer. Also important to pick images that will look good all blobby bits of color and little detail. These are all from the same store    I don't know how well this will turn out  This is for my mom's room  Then I also bought a ribbon cross-stitch kit and a regular cross-stitch kit from this store: ribbon   regular cross stitch  I just received some kits from another source (but from China) today and if they are any indication these items will all be larger than expected and with more detail than expected. They should arrive around May, all things considered!

I found my new favorite thing: A store that sells magic tricks. No, not magic kits or things like that toy with the pirate and the sword that keeps getting posted. No, you send this guy like 2bux and then he DM's you the instructions on how to perform a slight of hand.   I keep imagining like, what if he was going the more extreme route and selling MAGICK instructions, like telling edgy teens on a Geocities website with spinning skills and fire gifs how to summon Satan? but it's Aliexpress so it's a bootleg ritual and you end up summoning Santa.

Thanks to finding this thread in December, earlier this month I ordered a set of SH Figuarts Harry Potter Sorcerers Stone figures of Harry, Ron, Hermione for $16 each instead of their "normal" Amazon price of $35 each (Harry for $45). Inexplicably they had a "non-box" option for a buck or two off each figure and I went for it, figuring I was getting some knock off anyway; I was completely prepared for anything ranging from gummy candy to unpainted, unassembled figures in bags. They came the other day in a ball of bubble wrap and tape and they are seem like factory rejects than knock offs. They were in "standard" looking SH Figuarts plastic trays and roughly folded instruction manuals. Everything about them had the appearance of "These sets that didn't pass QC so I shoved them into my backpack when my shift ended". My biggest expectation that I took for fact was that they'd have some lovely, at-home, early Hasbro Black Series-like paint applications with lots of slop, lazy eyes, etc. so I was ecstatic that they look just like any photo you find online. Even their tiny badges are crisp and clean so clearly these were digitally printed at the factory like any others. As for the figures themselves, Harry's arm was off in the tray and so was Ron's foot but easily re-attachable. It took me forever to replace Hermione's right hand with a wand hand because the tiny double ball joint "dumb-bell" came out of her arm. No surprises on any of these as a couple of my "official" SH Figuarts purchases have had wonky poo poo (e.g., Last Jedi Luke's leg comes off if you look at it wrong, both Mandalorian figures are too "over engineered" and include tiny parts that you will lose if you aren't lookin for them as soon as you open). With a few years of collecting Mafex figures, SH Figuarts and building Bandai model Star Wars figures so I'm used to "plastic Japanese action figures" requiring delicate handling. Since these are more of nerd-display pieces than "play with them" action figures (despite the articulation), $60 for the whole set including shipping and in three weeks, two big thumbs up for my very tempered expectations.

those all-over print shirts feel pretty gross and get messed up in the wash quickly polyester is the bane of my existence, and one of the reasons why i don't buy clothes on ali anymore. i can't be sure what the material is going to be even if the description says otherwise idk i'm starting to feel like the good times are over

If you want good clothing deals bring in like $500 worth of knock off stuff from Tao Bao (idk if they’ve put a stop to it or not). I’m not a big supreme guy or anything but the quality of the stuff you get for the dollars paid beats anything you’ll get in the average store here.
