I'm prepared to take the hit  When the store had items, it was a mix of the usual tech stuff, but at 'normal' ali proces, but they also had this board bundle, and a few other items at sub one dollar prices. I was idly hoping they were loss leaders to garner good feedback. There were 550 of the board bundles, and the listing was up for about five days until it sold out. I couldn't find any on Aliexpress (just Russian) but it looks like some places do sell clear stickers that would add Hebrew lettering relatively unobtrusively, if you decide you need an Animal Crossing keyboard in your life.

So, I took a venture into the exciting world of AliExpress pyrotechnics! I must say that I expected more from the people that invented & have dominated fireworks for millennia... I got a smoke cake and "magic fire" powder. The smoke was very small in quantity and more gray in color than the yellow I ordered. The "smoke powder" I've bought from non-Ali sources previously was way more potent at generating thick smoke than this. The "magic fire" pouch did very little at all; I'd thought "fireworks use chemical salts for colors; if they just sell the salts in a pouch I throw in the fire, it'll probably look pretty cool!". Nope. The picture in the listing is very exaggerated.

I don't know about the quality of aliexpress ones, but the concept does work well. I have these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KMASB4U/ In like a normal fireplace fire, you can use 2-3 for better coverage. It's not a full rainbow but you do get nice teal and blue. There are some videos in the reviews to set a realistic expectation.

Slowly crawling my way through this thread and didn’t see it in the OP list: anyone got some nice cat supply products to recommend? I’m planning to be a first-time full-time cat owner in 2 months! Supply-wise I’m starting from scratch; I figure there’s obvious things like stick/string/crinkle toys etc., but I’d love to learn of any goon approved items. Preferably ones that won’t kill the cat. (Cat tree-wise I’m looking at Armakat, nail clippers and water fountain I’ll probably find locally. But only suckers pay more than $5 for cat toys)

Get your cat at least one dog toy. I've had several cats and though they did enjoy their cat toys, they would absolutely pick one of the dog's toys to steal, and they ADORED it even if it was obviously made for a dog. Like a stuffed toy duck that quacks when squeezed, that sort of thing. Novelty is important.
