Manual gear box E92 M3 Lime Rock Edition - Somewhat Heroic

I still stand by my selection on this question and knew that being specific (Lime Rock Edition) would get my aced. The Shelby cars will definitely fetch a high number at this hypothetical future option, but I think this M3 will garner a bigger number for the following:
  • Likely the last naturally aspirated M3 we will ever see
  • The only V8 M3
  • Hydraulic steering
  • Manual transmission, because no doubt DCT and future variants will be the norm
  • Special edition making for limited production numbers
  • European

This will get far more money than a frsbrzarotion

Well so are Model Ts, that doesn't make them a good answer to the spirit of the question.

Plus no one at those auctions goes nuts over rare top variants of European sedans, they want the car they drove/lusted after as a kid. That usually means formerly common American stuff (and stuff like Datsuns etc these days)

Good point, but when I thought of going faster it was in seconds, not tenths (or less) of a second :v:

I guess a turbo would be closer to bang for buck than cost effective.
