Every ace I've gotten has been me going into kill-mode and not noticing til someone mentions it. Which is also a good reason to love CS. Any game that causes dissolution of self is a good game.

It can't really be overstated how rare a 1v5 is against players of similar skill. For a player of average clutching skill, it's probably something along the lines of 1/1000 games. You can find decent RWS players on ESEA with ~3,000 games played and 0 1v5s. It's also one of those weird things where it actually probably gets harder the better you get (assuming your opponents get better too) because they won't give you the procession of 1v1s you might get at a lower level. Acing is something that happens. You suddenly realize you did it. If I ever stop and consider "Oh gently caress, I killed three in that rush, my team is now dead and there are two more." Then i'll just choke and die immediatly. Oh and I'm not good at this game, not trying to sound braggy. Having a true 1 vs 5 situation I would never ever manage.

I did well to force 1v1s, especially on an awper holding site, but realistically, at least two of the enemies played it reaaaaally badly, and the third one wasn't too bright, either. But even against idiots 1v5 isn't easy, so I'm proud. When I first started playing again my rank decay from not playing for a few years put me in silver 1 which is almost entirely small children. I would get at least one ace almost every game and every single one managed to be the most boring ace of all time.
