Taking a break from soldering esoteric cable solutions, and sampling chickens & the sound of a flushing toilet captured from deep within the toilet plumbing, here's some self-triggering Dark Energy Mk1 & spring reverb: http://cdn.lowbroweye.com/misc/140903_0051%20Dark%20Energy%20squabble.wav

I have an Ultranova (my first synth) and it's really fun and easy to use. Here's a little 8bit-ish thing I made from a section of the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack. All sounds from the Ultranova: https://soundcloud.com/davidwiese/ft8bit

Kinda stretching the rules (no groovebox) but I'm going to try to make something entirely with sampling the SH-101 with the S1000 (basically the same names...) will try for as much percussion and things like that so it's more of a challenge. Had sort of wanted to try that anyways. Only 4MB of sample memory so that's part of the challenge.

toadee posted:Would making a track entirely within a single patch in a Nord Micro Modular count btw? Dunno, what are the sequencing options like? If you mean a one note ambient drone, no. If you mean, like, a patch being driven by a celluar automata sequencer then I would hesitantly say yes. If it's a normal linear sequencer, but you can only play one voice at a time then, sure, why the gently caress not. I could hardly call, like, a Chopin piano piece not a song. edit: also stoked to see so much casio love. next synth challenge should be casiorchestra challenge. net work error posted:Miku is actually a VST/program not an anime character.
