the jalapeno cheddar biscuit is back and i learned last weekend that you can sub it in on a biscuit and gravy plate and for good fat-gently caress measure i also added a jalapeno sausage biscuit sandwich + 1 extra sausage patty to the order and ate that whole gloopy pile right up thinking about doing it again today

For some reason I get whataburger ads in Spanish on Pluto and while I understand it's just the word for sauce the term "honey butter salsa" is extremely funny.

i was in texas recently for the eclipse and tried whataburger for the first time. got the #1. burg was alright, fries too stringy. spicy ketchup was neat though.

i was in tx for my brothers wedding and tried whataburger twice. both times the fries were rear end and the service was bad. although both times i saw someone get fired so maybe they had new employees. i felt bad because the service wasnt good but it wasnt fire them over it bad. the burgs though esp the patty melt was very good. if i ever go back ill just skip the combo and get a shake or something.

There are times where I hate their fries and times when they hit the spot like few other things. I can't really explain it.

they gave us big packets of spicy ketchup (like little mini ramekins) so maybe just ask for the spicy ketchup when getting burgs and save it for better fries

The new Bacon Steakhouse burger is the best fuckin burger Whataburger has put out since they killed off the A-1 Thick & Hearty burger. They should pull that stick out of their rear end and bring back the A-1 burger again but put the crispy fried onion straws on it instead of grilled onions, and maybe use the cheddar cheese instead of whatever cheese it had on it before. Also they should keep the Bacon Steakhouse burger full-time. ----------------

I might as well go to a regular rear end Applebees or something and get the same thing for what they charge for basically the same Sysco/sigma/mcclaine poo poo in a different package just because ITS A TEXAS TRADITION or WTF. They spread out the meat to fit a bigger than average bun omfg let’s give them a medal. Another day in the life of Randabis...

In the past for me, I think it has more to do with the fact that many are open 24 hours so if you're leaving the bar late at night or otherwise inebriated at a late hour and want some fast food, which go hand in hand, at least it's there. I used to have multiple "drinking buddies" that at one time or another lived in an apartment complex that had a Whataburger in the adjoining parking lot and it got visited more often because it was both right there and open than anything else.
