The problem with collars on outdoor cats is that they get snagged and torn off all the time. Best thing is a microchip and a spay/neuter tattoo so they don't get their ear tip nipped off if they get caught in a TNR or picked up as a stray.

Growing up I had a collie mix that shed pretty spectacularly. As he got older his hearing went and he eventually tolerated being vacuumed. Let me tell you, that's an efficient way to de-fluff a dog.

I got all the big dog grooms, but huskies do not get baths and blowouts on a regular schedule, so the experience of having a forced air dryer used on their rumps was new and strange and they really needed me to know that. Like really, reaIly needed me to understand that they had no clue why i would do something like this to them. They weren't mad, just very confused and oh God why was I not listening to them.

I've stumbled onto a bit of a Popular Youtuber hole on youtube, and I think watching Jenna Marbles trying to teach her ten-year-old dog how to Sit on something other than something soft qualifies as cute. Little dude tries so hard.
