Can you fathom how friggin big that is? Especially when most Brits who own homes end up with something roughly the size of a postage stamp.

The classic line is that for an American 100 years is a long time and for a Brit 100 miles is a long way.

I wanted to go to Chicago but didn't get the chance. Maybe I will next year. I haven't been to Toronto in a couple years, either. I can only do one though. The Taint Reaper posted:You're close, apparently they're wanting to start a kickstarter because Hasbro's Legal Department stole their dream out from under them. And they think that any Hasbro sanctioned convention just wont be the real deal because it would be run by soulless corporate suits and not ~real fans~ like FunPub. Maybe you're just taint reaping, but if this is true then that's hilarious and super hypocritical.

I feel like Roberts has been to the regular character appears to die at the end of the issue only to be not as dead as we thought well a little too often. It had punch when it was Rung and Rewind, but I half expected this anyway, because Transformers have been frequently shown to be hella tough and the universe/writer conspires to keep them alive if they're lovable. Not Pipes though apparently. Pipes stays dead. I just wish Roberts would start plotting these nondeaths for the middle of the issue, or straight up avoiding them, cause it's become a bit cheap and the comic is better than that.

I just wish Roberts would start plotting these nondeaths for the middle of the issue, or straight up avoiding them, cause it's become a bit cheap and the comic is better than that. I was bitching about this a few months ago. This has happened so many times in the comic that I probably can't list them all. Rung got his head blown off but got better. Red Alert ripped his own head off. Swerve blew his face off for comedic effect, and disappeared from reality once. Ultra Magnus "died", but Minimus Ambus had a smaller robot inside. Rodimus lost half his head, but it turned out to be from an alternate timeline. Rewind died, but we got the one from said alternate timeline back. I think Brainstorm "died" too but I can't even remember how. And I've probably forgotten some. It's really a terrible crutch and it makes me check out of the storyline because there aren't any stakes. It's become like a Marvel or DC cape book, but instead of taking a couple years for them to return, Roberts tends to bring them back the very next issue. And the sliding timescale and lack of any lasting change or stakes is why I stopped reading superhero comics. I no longer care who lives and who dies, because in MTMTE, death has become meaningless. I think the only characters who haven't come back from "death" are Pipes and Trailbreaker, and they were pretty unimportant.

Don't spoil my only exposure to the USA being roundabout scaredy auto-driving maniacs. The chunnel is south and connects us to the french. We don't speak about that. Also should we recognise most of the new bots in MTMTE? I see a few G2 things I had as a kid in the first scene.
