Yeah, the whole "raise an order card and we'll take care of it" thing is a lot more about getting really obnoxious drunks taken care of. The real reason that screenings at the Alamo don't have a ton of talking and are more pleasant than regular theaters is because they literally don't allow anyone under 18 into any screening without an adult. No unaccompanied teenagers, ever.

We expected to be shushed by the elderly women and couples sitting behind us but they were all cackling with us and commenting on how ugly and poo poo the movie was. An hour into it when the Cats were singing about Jellicles, the woman sitting behind us asked her boyfriend "what's a Jellicle?"

People are allowed to react, they just don't want the situation I had at Scream 6 where some guy and his girlfriend sat right next to me, she kept asking who everyone is then he told her to shut up and they had a whisper fight for 5 minutes and she started pinching him.
