one time i woke up because i dreamt a giant toad jumped through my window into my bed and i freaked out and threw my blanket over where the toad would have been and ran out of my bedroom and sat in the living room for like an hour unsure if i dreamt it or if it really happened

I've had a few of those where I've dreamed something just crawled into bed with me or walked on my face (it was probably a spider IRL  ) and end up doing the "leap out of bed and flip on the lights in a blind panic" thing and not even be fully awake until I've been standing at the light switch for a minute. When I was still living at my parents' I woke up in the middle of the night once hearing a huge *thud* and turns out my sister had some kind of night panic like that and just flopped right out of her bed and hit the floor lol

Not quite that bad, but in one dream my front lawn was filled with giant spike pits filled with bees and I had to jump over them for some reason. It wasn't actually scary, but it was bizarre, to say the least.

it's weird how, with both mega man x and mega man x4, they formed a really solid base for a game and then didn't know how to expand on it in any future installments, so they just sort of made a bunch of pretty solid levels and then tried to kludge together all this extra new stuff that doesn't really work in the sequels that follow immediately after

It's kind of hilarious when you compare it to the original megaman, which had a couple of improvements in 3 and 4, but 4-6 play nearly the same as 2. 9 and 10, as well.

Not really, since 4 added the charge shot, which was kind of a game changer. And 6 had the adapters which were really interesting and made it very different from 2. Really, I'd say 3 plays more like 2 than 4-6 do, especially with using remixed levels instead of an actual 2nd fortress.
