First MacWorld show (Jan. 1985) company I was at drove two cars with our stuff from LA to San Francisco. 1982 or so wedge Supra and a new Mustang GT. I drove the Toyota there with my head touching the roof. At almost 6’3” too tall for it. Still a nice car (5 speed). On the way back I snagged the GT and we did Highway 1. Far more fun. Amusingly the VP Marketing lady (all 5’2”) found the clutch of the Mustang to be tiring and purchased the first year widebody Supra (sadly auto). We kept the Mustang as the company car. CEO had a MR2. I had a CRX and a Honda 4wd wagon. Aegis Development in case you’re curious.

Seat Safety Switch posted:I remember that. I don't think it ran on anything newish, and it was built in something super weird. It was written for the 128K Mac in a bizarre version of FORTH that used 16 bit addressing and divided the memory into 64kb for code and 64kb for data. At the time the option was to buy a LISA or pay the MacForth folks thousands of $$$. Concept to heat shrink in 30 days. And still a decent game. Car related: The CEO bought their first version of the M3 when it came out. Sweet car.

I went to Classics & Cake (it's like cars & coffee, only with cake, and classics) at a friend of a friend's dealership/shop this weekend. Some nice cars, plus I got to see a bunch of friends I haven't seen in some time. This was at the UK Roadkill event yesterday. Stripped-out E-Type with a 3-rotor, converted to N/A using RX-8 parts, weighing in about 3/4 of a ton. Dragster on the left is running a Jag V12.
