Yeah that's the shame about Pennington: he was a really solid QB when he was healthy. Unfortunately he never was because he was so brittle.

I'm pretty sure the Chargers never beat a team he started for. I mean, they managed to beat a Brady Pats team at least once but they never did it against Chad. Weird world

Sapp is one of those guys like Moss who did have the legitimate off field issues that drafters worried about. It's just that they were so talented and full of spite at not getting drafted higher that they dominated anyway.

This honestly angers me, and I'm only sort of on the Coryell bandwagon.

Oh it existed, but balance passes less so. This was more of a feature then a bug for the era, since something like this was more so you could show off this sick rear end thing you could do in games rather then now where anything unbalanced gets uploaded to youtube immediately and everyone knows it.

No one is "cheering"; we just dont feel bad for the Pats or PatsFans. Half the Chargers team has been literally murdered this preseason and they're not playing the victim.

Exactly. No injury to the Pats including Brady is keeping them from the postseason and only a Brady injury hurts their Super Bowl chances.
