It must be nice for Steelers players to know that once their time is up, they can always get one last contract from the Arizona Cardinals.

Try not to take yourself too seriously. It'll do you some good.

I haven't been very impressed by him the few times I've seen him play, but he'll likely have a chance to produce in the Pats O because everyone does. IIRC, he's shown flashes as a receiver out of the backfield, correct?

If I had to guess, he probably became a small blip on Bill's radar during the year when Mohamed Sanu was the only healthy receiver and Burkhead would first start lining up out there

Aside from the last game of the season, yeah, there's not a whole lot to project from, but he does have good hands. Not sure how much he'll contribute, but it's as good a landing spot for him as anywhere

I guess it depends if he wants Jamie Collins money or not.

The pats can make literally any RB look amazingly good.

Remember Jonas Gray's 200 yard 4 touchdown game?

Bellicheck is a master at finding a niche use for a specific guy and exploiting that to an absurd degree. It doesn't require that the player actually be good at their position in a more general sense.

For what it is worth, after watching Rex for a few years I would have zero problems with him in theory being the starting RB on the Bengals. He makes up for not being a physical freak of nature by being really good at following blocking and is really decisive at the line. He is small but has the ability to hit people hard on contact to get a few more yards. I don't know enough to comment on him pass protecting but he is great catching out of the backfield or out in the slot. He will do really well in NE and people will attribute it just to Bill being a genius, but he is a legit really good player.

He is basically the polar opposite of Jeremy Hill in about every way possible.

I keep hearing about some giants DT. A lot of smoke it'll be a year prove it but a lot of people think Poe wants a 2 year. Miami wants a 1 year so they've got the option to let him walk for the comp pick

The realistic choices for Hightower were always "stay on Pats for mediocre deal" or "go somewhere else for bigger deal." I don't know that anybody has successfully twisted their arm for more money. If you're a Patriot who wants a megabux deal, you just leave.
