This is the first song from Koenjihyakkei's "Viva Koenjihyyaeki!" album. You would know the drummer as the absolute genius behind Ruins, Tatsuya Yoshida. It's basically a fusion of Yoshida's speed/prog/punk style and Magma's Zeuhl approach. It's all Japanese and rocks my poo poo off.

Hope you guys enjoy.

Go to http://jerkagram.bandcamp.com for two preview songs, just put up today -- we are releasing a full-length next month!

I guess if you like strange heavy rock, give it a go.

My buds in Bangladeafy have decided to make their excellent The Briefcase EP available for free download. Eclectic drum-and-bass with influences from bands like Don Caballero.

Hey, who are you.

I am friends with those guys too and Jon from Bangladeafy almost played bass on my band's record. I'm in Jerkagram so you probably know me.

I'm fairly sure we've never met, but I've known Jon since we were like 14 years old.

Ah cool. Yeah we've played a bunch of shows with Bangladeafy and Jon is the funniest motherfucker and a great dude. Cool to see someone else post about them.

My band is streaming a new album free until January 2nd. If you like tribal, repetition/build-up based rock with a sense of being unhinged, check us out.

My band JERKAGRAM released a full-length record a few months ago and I posted about it in here. I'm going to post about our new EP, released a few days ago. It's me on drums and my brother on guitar/vocals/loops and for this we added a bass player and a cellist for the recording.

We have hints of a heavy Melvins/Mastodon type sound and a lot of ambient, floaty, free-sounding post-rock and work with a lot of build-up/repetition. It's 3 tracks and about 25 minutes and free to stream, so hope some of you dig it. It's called "Tired Old Horseshit."

NOTE: We are leaving the east coast permanently in a month to play 54 shows around the country, so I will be posting those show dates soon and maybe some goons can come out and see us. I'll suck all y'alls dicks for a place to stay.

My brother and I are in a duo and recorded a new album with Toshi Kasai, who is an occasional member of Big Business and records The Melvins. We just premiered the first "single" from it. Check it out, I'm drums, my brother is guitars. We have a bassist but only for the studio.
