http://www.theconnerbrothers.com/kittitas/ Kittitas is a band featuring Pat Conner, brother of the fat Conner brothers from the Screaming Trees, a guy from 90s grunge band Seaweed, and some other dudes from Seattle. They sound like a mix between the Screaming Trees and the Afghan Whigs (and by extension, Mark Lanegan and Greg Dulli's solo projects, the latter especially). I enjoy their music a lot and the great thing is there's the equivalent of 2 albums up there for completely free download. It's a shame this style of music isn't very trendy at the moment and they're unsigned because I think they would do well on an indie label. On the up side .. they're giving away the music instead!
