How do those Axioms sound?

I got them before the receiver and I was disappointed with the bass when I hooked them up to the roommate's home theater receiver. With the marantz, it is completely different. I have been listening to them for the past hour and I love it. Once I get this on a desk and go through more of my catalogue, I'll get a clearer idea. But they sound a lot nicer than more expensive speakers I've heard before (like Paradigms). I am very pleased. I will need a sub to fill out the bottom end, but that is down on the road and not so necessary that it needs to be done now.
