"They" say that the biggest difference is when listening at lower volumes than when listening loud. I used a Rotel RB-1572 before. I noticed a great difference! I'm not an audiophile, but the sound has improved on all levels. "Meatier" is a word that comes to mind. Never tried the Emotiva amps, although I have an UMC-1 on the way.
