Let's take it back to seventy-nine...
I'm still somewhat unclear on the definition of post-rock, but who cares, I'll list some favorites anyways (especially since I haven't seen any of them listed yet. That either means I'm super-awesome and better than everyone or I have crappy taste)

Red Sparowes - Every Red Heart Shines Towards the Sun
For some reason I got it into my head when I first got this album that they were Swedish, or from somewhere in that region. Googling for a picture of the album I noticed they were from LA. Oh well, close enough. They rock. I like this album so much more than anything EITS has ever done.


Maybeshewill - Japanese Spy Transcript EP
This is all I have of them, sadly only four songs. Still though, the first track on this EP is 2:21 of pure badass-ness, with the other three songs close behind. It's short and I wish I had more but they're definitely worth checking out.
