Looking for more punk/pop-punk/ska bands with keyboards and synthesizers. Wikipedia's article on synthpunk isn't the kind of stuff I'm looking for at all. I've heard Bad Religion's 2nd album and it sucks. I'm talking about stuff like Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer, Motion City Soundtrack, and the last I Voted For Kodos record. My favorite band is Bomb the Music Industry. What else is out there?

I've had this song stuck in my head for a couple days, playing it on repeat because I am autistic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7RUeMCZL3Q

I have so many feelings about this. For one, seeing a young Laura Jane Grace singing some earnest feelings and grievances with counterculture even before she trans'd. I love how like... this song seems like an almost sardonic look back at the political naivety of youth. While at the same time, i get the feeling she pines for the sort of genuinely radical politique that was missing from the leftist cliques of her own youth (and I kind of relate to that myself, having leftist cliques that didn't fully embrace who I am). It's such a beautiful, bittersweet rage song. I love it. <3

Just wanted to write words about this song, thanks, peace.

There's a really good interview with her on Marc Maron's podcast where she talks about the punk/political scene when she was growing up.
