Stream of consciousness analysis: Lowered / tinted / wheels... that's not a stock car. Who knows what mods have been on there and removed. You can't get a good look at the exhaust, but the shot from the right rear looks like there's a fart cannon on there. VTEC stickers have been removed. Doesn't the Si come with a spoiler on the back? That's a laundry list of mods that certainly don't qualify it as "unmolested."

^^^ Porsche Exclusive options have been around for at least 20 years. I had a brochure for a 928 with options like leather-covered-everything for $$$. I've got a friend that has a 911 RS America that has some of the Exclusive options like Guards Red seat belts and some random Guards Red trim on the interior. Here's a shot with bonus horse cock shifter: http://i.imgur.com/NuF2W I just configured a $241,000 Panamera. meatpimp fucked around with this message at 22:54 on Apr 27, 2011 |

Sir Tonk posted:If this was in Texas I'd definitely buy it immediately. I love these Capris and being a convertible is pretty drat special. I've certainly never seen a McLaren Capri, just the Mustang version. My neighbor just sold his. I actually saw his craigslist ad, that's how I knew he was selling it. Seemed like more of an oddball than a very interesting car to me. Once I saw the ad (he was asking $6k), I looked it up to see if there was any market for it and there really wasn't much... a number of the Capris for sale in the $5-8k range, seemed like the same price whether it was a Mustang or Capri with only a very slight bump in price for a convertible.

I present to you the world's worst LS swap. 240SX gets a mid-engine LS but cutting out the structure of the 240 and slamming in a GM subframe. Nothing about this is done well, correctly, or properly. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/5178652210.html

Nitrox posted:Goddamn, that's like watching a pile of money burn. The car is still not driving under own power, the best I could tell. And everything he's done could be easily achieved by buying a used Camaro. That thread has been bouncing around for years, I've seen it before and took another look. My thoughts now are the same as I thought before... it seems like an elaborate troll. He's talking about ways to make power with an LSx like it's some kind of groundbreaking experiment that he's doing, when in reality, it's cheap and easy to make the 750hp that he's bragging about... Weird stuff. And he's still got a Cobalt.
