PyObjC is actually pretty nice so far. You should be able to adapt some of the concepts from
http://lethain.com/entry/2008/aug/22/an-epic-introduction-to-pyobjc-and-cocoa/
to link a text view to the output of your app or something (depends what you wanna do)
