Cmdr - yup, can you PM me a price please? noblystabbed - regarding the old Yellow LM2 - I cannot believe you haven't gotten any bites! I'd hold onto it until the right buyer comes along. It is a great head. I have a CMD 102P that I would part with to get that and a few 1x12 Berg cabinets... hmmmmmm... pondering next rig. Would you want to trade it for this... I have a Trace Elliot 300AH that I need to part with. Hey, it isn't a GK 800RB, but it has some great thick tone to it! 300 watts, 4ohm (one speaker OR one xlr output), 12 band eq, XLR out to the board pre/post options.

tolling - cool bass. You can always use a bit of painters tape or something similar to make a few helpful hints until your hand has that natural placement feeling. I never got that, I'm still a fret monkey.

I'm currently selling a few items. Sorry they aren't trades at the moment. Composite Acoustics RTG (carbon fiber guitar oh my!) http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=436590 Rickenbacker 4003 http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=449938 And previously mentioned in this thread - a Trace Elliot 300AH head. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4920913#post4920913 I also have an old Gallien Kruger 200MB combo. It is very small and lightweight rated at 100 watts. Works well as a practice amp, but for gigging, you'll not get too much out of it from the stage, only the DI. PM me and make me an offer if you would like it. Schatten fucked around with this message at 16:11 on Jul 8, 2008 |

Trades? Not so much interested at the moment. A pre-90 or custom 4 string neck through thumb would be on my list of wants. =D I understand about trading up. That's what I've done over the past few years. Some I've kept for a while, some only for a few months. It is an illness and I have what I call my "illness closet", it is a closet that is lined with hard & soft cases of guitars/basses, etc. With this guitar though, I'd like the dough, but if I sit down and play it, it is very difficult to see it go. It feels like a toy, and just plays so smoothly.

Things I am looking for: - Volume and/or wah pedal. Working with bass preferred. An Ibanez Demon Wah would be great. - a handful of patch cables anywhere bewtween 3' and 6" for the pedalboard. Quality over quantity, or else I'll just order from Bayou cables in a few months. - some odd sounding pedals, a good bass synth would be cool on the cheap.

Contemplating selling a few things that I don't use too much. Just throwing these out for interest. PM with an offer or even for trades and see if it gets my interest Pedals - Zakk Wylde Overdrive - Bass Chorus Boss CEB-3 - Humphrey modded Boss CS-3 Bass Smasher Compression pedal - EHX Memory Man w/Hazarai Basses - 2006 Highway 1 Precision Bass http://www.flickr.com/photos/whoapower/2273289676/in/set-72157604159710697/ This is the updated HWY1, satin finish with graphite rods to reinforce the neck and BadAss II bridge. Currently outfitted with La Bella flats, but can swap out for roundwounds on request. This is in excellent condition, maybe a 9 out of 10, because it has been gigged quite a bit. - Early 80's Ibanez 5 string in a yellowized pearl with two active EMG humbuckers. I had professionally defretted and lined in 91. Doesn't play too bad. String spacing is very narrow. Bridge needs to be 'set' with loc-tite or else can rattle with aggressive fingering. Neck was damaged prior to buying it in 1990 near the headstock. Not cosmeticly perfect, but the bass isn't near new. Can send pictures. Comes with a Peavy hardcase. Offers welcome, local preferred.

Looking for trades/offers: Fender Jaguar in Hot Rod Red. 2009, CIJ, less than an hour of play on it. Great fast neck. Just not the type of Jazz for me. As for dollars, I'd consider shipping it for 600, which is about the going price for these things. Interested in guitars/amps/basses, even partial trade towards a Ric 330/360/4001/4003 if you have one for grabs and need cash. Also have an 80's Gallien Kreuger 200MB. It is not in any great cosmetic condition, but it sounds fantastic. For locals: if you are new to guitar, or need a tiny practice amp, I have a Fender and a Peavy that I need to part with. Both are from the mid-80's, neither are tube. Will trade a six pack for em. Schatten fucked around with this message at 22:08 on Sep 15, 2009 |

A few pedals up for sale. Mojohand Sugar Baby. New $149, only used a few times in a non-smoking home environment, never gigged, in perfect shape. $125 shipped. quote:Inspired by amp trems from years gone by, the Sugar Baby is pure vintage sweetness. The Speed Control works like a brake. The more brake you apply the slower it goes. Depth controls the depth of the throb. It becomes noticeable around 9 o'clock or so on the dial. Increase depth for more pronounced throb or harder chop. Volume can be adjusted via the internal trim pot. quote:The Mole is a bass booster that helps bassists and guitarists unearth a sound that is positively subterranean. Based on the classic design, this updated pedal adds the same rich, low-end bottom while adding a 20dB boost to your signal. Whether you step on the Mole to get deep, ground-shaking drive or dial back the knob to add some texture to your existing tone, the Mole will dig wherever you tell it to. quote:Details here: http://www.marshallamps.com/product.asp?productCode=Jackhammer quote:The Bad Monkey Tube Overdrive gives your amp a boost just when you need it. It has been compared to the TS-808 but with having the unique ability to smooth out the distortion by use of the low and high EQ controls. Most overdrive pedals give you one tone control knob thus limiting your tonal options. You asked for a pedal that will maintain your guitar’s distinct tone and DigiTech delivered! With its rugged design, separate mixer and amp outputs, and amazing tonal options, this pedal truly is a Bad Monkey. From Blues to Rock to everything in between, it will give you that amazing overdriven tube amp sound that will keep begging you to crank it up! Contemplating selling the following, which have never been gigged, nor removed from home, but you'll need to express interest: - Humphrey modded Boss Bass Compressor - Keeley modded Boss DS1 - EHX Memory Boy - Boss Bass Chorus Schatten fucked around with this message at 16:54 on Mar 31, 2010 |
