Just warning you to be wary of these. I got one and it died on me in 3 months with light usage. I've heard similar stories about others.

But it [Boss RC-2] has a 5 year warranty?

I shipped a pair of solid wood church chairs to Norway from Texas in a single box with a combined weight of around 70 lbs, it cost about $400 via UPS international freight. The biggest issue was the size of the box due to the dimensions of the fully assembled chairs. If you call up UPS International Freight (White trucks) they can usually walk you through it and even email you the customs forms, in addition to giving you advice on maximum box dimensions to avoid any wacky size tarrifs.

The other option is to call up a freight consolidator and buy space in a container going to country X, but that's a lot slower.

Someone have a Big Muff of sorts they'd be willing to part with for cheap-ish? Little Big Muff format preferred, but let me know what'cha got.

Just got a notice in the mail from my bank that starting August they will simply decline debit card purchases that attempt to overdraw by default. That poo poo can get expensive and I'm glad to see they've legislated it away for the most part(!).

uh, edit your post and delete the old <img>your image URL here</img> link, and reupload either

a) throw a t in the tag <timg>your image URL here</timg> instead of <img>
b) the same image, and copy/paste the thumbnail code listed on the waffleimages page, or
c) scale it down, then reupload

Edit: Sold 11/20/2010 for $40 locally

I'm keeping an eye on your loop pedal. The going price for used loop pedals (on craigslist, ebay) seems to be $150-185 but that still seems awful high considering how basic the technology is in 2010.

I have a near mint MXR Phase 90 (build date 2002-era-ish? 9v jack but missing the "vintage" script) up for grabs and/or trade, $45 shipped inside the continental US. Crappy cell phone pic (brightness/contrast enhanced in gimp), but it is in fact standard day-glo orange. Not sure what the knobby thing is on the dial but I was told it's an original MXR part.

EHX Stereo Pulsar: Great tremolo. As usual EHX gives you a lot more range of adjustment than most manufacturers, making this more versatile than your normal trem. This doesn't seem to have the volume drop that some Pulsar owners complain about. Excellent condition, velcro, no box. $60 shipped Paypal

This is a steal, I paid $65 two years ago for one off craigslist, it is one of the few pedals I've never contemplated selling

Moving cross country and it's time to unload. Local pickup for Dallas-area goons. I'm pretty close to Downtown Dallas. These are on sale until Wednesday around noon, at which point they'll be on sale again in San Francisco starting around Dec 15th.

take the m off the end of each URL to get the gigantic size

Of interest is the Epiphone Les Paul 100 which comes with an Epiphone brand hard case. The Squire is a squire affinity but it sounds as nice as most low end fender telecasters, better than most low end junk out there for sure. The woods guitar is an OK acoustic with a 1/4" phono plug and equalizer which is nice-ish.

Epi Valve Junior is what you'd expect, the Crate has a bypass switch that lets yo use it with the Valve Junior. It has a 12" woofer. The 15w amp electronics still work.

Pedals are a mix, most of them I am first owner, except the EHX Pulsar, Morely and Reflector. Actually I bought the Reflector from Agreed from this very thread 4-5 years ago.

Looking for $100-125 from the guitars, $10-15 for each pedal, $125 for the "amp stack". Local pickup only.

I have a laser harp I built from a kit, looks like this, already did all the laser/sensor alignment, tested it, then promptly put it in storage

used to look like this

Will let it go for $30. It was $12 plus a bunch of assembly. And it's not worth going down to the post office for less. It's a static device when you break the beam the tone sounds. There's no modulation it's either full on or full off. It has some adjustment I think it can go up and down a couple of scales, from 440 up to, i dunno two or three keys in either direction, been a long time since I turned it on. Would be interesting to close mic it (no line out, only a piezo speaker) and put a reverb and a wah pedal on it. I want to say it's ~8x8 inches or maybe 9x9 inches. If you're a professional basketball player it might be a bit cramped but was fine as a regular sized american

This definitely falls under the category of "weird hacky poo poo" so it could fail at any time but it's all solid state and (obviously) user repairable. This is just weird electronics stuff that came out of hong kong a few years ago as a kit I doubt they made more than 1000 of these

quote:

NOTE : it is diy kit , need you Welding by yourself

Laser harp’s strings is replaced by laser beam. You can play the laser beam as a string. Each beam has a different pitch. It's very creative for you to DIY.

2. Principle of laser harp:

The user only needs to move the beam as if the string is moved, and a melody can be played. The laser harp is composed of two parts: a photosensitive resistor and a single chip microcomputer STC89C52. When the beam emitted by a laser tube is blocked, the corresponding photosensitive resistance is induced and the resistance changes are generated. The system of eight photosensitive resistors produces the change of high and low potential, and reads the high and low potential changes of the photosensitive resistance by the single chip computer, and completes the input of the operation instruction. The MCU controls data based on command information to transmit data through serial port, which is assigned to p0^2 port of loudspeaker and P1 port of water lamp to generate corresponding response.

When the laser is irradiated, the MCU reads the voltage of the photosensitive resistance, and it is low level at this time. When there is no laser irradiation, the MCU reads the voltage of the photosensitive resistance, then it is high level. In this way, when the light of the laser is shielded, the effect of the switch can be produced in the circuit.

The sound frequency of the human ear can be heard from 20Hz to 20kHz, and the frequency of the harp notes should also be in this range. It's just that different notes have their own fixed frequency. The above audio can be generated by a 16 bit timer with a 52 single chip microcomputer. For example, the standard sound of the harp is La 440Hz. It can be seen from the calculation that the half cycle of it is 1136 Mu s. In this way, the square wave of 440Hz can be generated as long as the pin level is jumped in the half cycle. After the electrical conversion element (horn), the standard sound La can be produced, and the other notes are also produced.

3. Features:

1>.There are a total of 7 strings. When the string is cut, the buzzer sends out the corresponding sound level.
2>. When the string is cut, the LED of the string is lit up. There are a total of 7 LED.
3>. Play two pieces of music stored by buttons.
4>. Switch middle and high bass.

Supply voltage: 4.5V-5.5V DC

looks like there's still one for sale, unassembled: https://www.ebay.com/itm/283910320356

The reason I'm selling it now is 1) I found it and 2) an artistic guy is giving a laser harp performance in tokyo so apparently other people find this kind of thing amusing
