I used to join a random clan counterstrike source server, die as soon as possible, then conduct a text adventure in global chat. >You are in a dusty corridor. Gunfire can be heard in the east. There are exits to the north, south and east. Usually I'd be banned right away but a couple of times I had the whole server playing along.

Adter reading all the great creative ways to grief people, a group of people crashing tf2 servers by spamming the flare gun exploit sounds really loving pathetic. Can't you see the difference between creative griefing and just being a lowest common denominator dickhead? Where is your pride?

Sangoeil posted:being useless in tf2 When I get bored of playing tf2 properly, I join a random public server, go spy, and see how long I can stand on heavy weapons guy's heads before being killed. I get a fair bit of abuse from my own team who happen to spectate me while dead. I also get abuse for having a very low score. Once I managed to stand on a sniper's head for a good 5 minutes, continually using the "jeer" voice command to insult him after every shot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBdBDZDmI_k MeTa_Cunt0rV2.1 fucked around with this message at 15:30 on Jul 29, 2008 |

I will never play eve but I love reading about griefing in that game, especially on this scale. This latest BoB takeover by goonswarm was reported on shacknews which is where I first read about it. From the eve forums: quote:...this way of playtype is just sick. MeTa_Cunt0rV2.1 fucked around with this message at 11:02 on Feb 5, 2009 |

VSI posted:When I finally got it working I changed my name to "The Magical Intel Fairy" and told them that they had to eschew the cynicism of modern society and joyfully believe in the wonder of magic. Just like the flare gun exploit, this isn't funny and isn't creative enough to be good griefing. It's just pathetic. To pre-empt the usual replies, no I haven't been affected by this bug and that's not why I'm posting. I'm posting about it because it's just the most plebian form of griefing... pedestrian... boring... not funny.

Look at all the non-entities trying to take snipes at me with their tired cookie cutter posts just because I criticised their favorite hobby. If you're gonna grief, put some effort into it. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

As soon as someone sees you join team unassigned, you're kicked and that's the end of it. It was hilarious to start with, but not so much anymore. They are all jumping on me because they are all non-entities with nothing worth saying so they jump on the nearest available bandwagon while making GBS threads out the same old poo poo posts we've all seen a million times before. You've also explained why it's not funny much better than I did.

Best bit in that video is the headshot to the rocket jumping soldier then the casual body shot to finish.

Seems like you got griefed gay porn dude. I mean let's face it, you are certainly aggrieved that you got banned from a server for breaking their rules. Why not find a new home among the millions of other servers out there? The greatest thing about your post is justifying your fetish by claiming other people "can't handle the net" The second life post above was fantastic. That's all great stuff you posted there.
