There's quite a few RC51s for sale around here but those seem like they might be a bit much/too uncomfortable,

They're pretty aggressive, but I have friend whose SP-1 is his daily driver. He's done five-hour trips on it without too much trouble, and it's a fun weekend/track ride. Plus it's an RC51.

What does everyone think of the Honda CBR 125, it has come up as viable option for my first bike purchase, so what do you think? of the 05+ make specifically (I don't think they have changed at all since introduced in Canada but you never know).

They're lots of fun.

Pro: light, fun, cheap.
Con: Faired, 13hp, top speed of maybe 120kph.

While bike hunting today I found an ok-looking K8 GSXR online with only minor ricing, and emailed the seller only to discover a level of stupidity I just wasn't prepared for.

quote:

Q: Would it be possible to view the bike?
A: Yes,but why? Its pretty much brand new.Whats to see? I suspect you are a dreamer wanting to cream your load, save it for someone else numbnuts!!

He then blacklisted me from the auction. :byewhore:

How are 98+ Honda VFRs? They sound like really solid and reliable bikes and everyone that has one seems to love it. I've actually grown quite fond of the F4i, but used prices on them seem kinda high and a lot of them seem to have been lowslided at last once in their lives, the ones that haven't seem aburdly high in price.

Failing those options I think i'll lean towards an FZ6. I mostly commute anyways, I don't think i'l ever see a track day on my schedule, just the occasionally twisty road.

I don't know anything about VFRs, but have you considered cross shopping FZ6s with Kawasaki Z750s? I've heard good things about them.
