How is the reliability of new BMWs? Specifically the R1200RT looks pretty nice but I don't know if there are still problems with things like the shaft drive breaking. I have read that routine maintenance (e.g. oil changes) is still fairly complicated and possibly best left to the dealer, but I can accept that if the bike doesn't actually break down.
