Oh man, just that "Notes" were one of their top features out the gate already has me excited! I'm a simple creature.

Is it just me who's had a lot of sites dying or refusing to load in Opera 12 this past week? If this keeps up, I'm probably going to try jumping over to Vivaldi or Otter as a primary sooner than I'd hoped.

Next time it starts happening, I'll make a list. A temporary workaround has been "close Opera, wait for it to fully unload from memory (a process which takes a while), and then reopen it". But every time this happens now, I've tested, and whatever other browser I throw the sites at will load them no problemo, so it is indeed a browser issue of some sort.

Holy poo poo Vivaldi is so much nicer. I'm migrating everything over but this is miles ahead of O12 in terms of stability at this point.

Wheany posted:Well, post impressions after using it for a couple of weeks. I'm pretty skeptical about them using JS in the UI. Can do. Mostly right now I'm just glad everything is a) loading, b) not hitching massively if a wave of images appears, and c) has a smaller memory footprint thus far.

Yeah, that's passing me by too, Win7 64-bit. You might have found a bug that needs reporting.

Well I sure do love this Vivaldi bug wherein highlighting the address bar sometimes makes it think I'm editing my bookmarks, which via a couple of misplaced "ctrl+x"s has eaten entire folders which I have no way of quickly re-adding. (edit: I think it just disabled the Speed Dial entirely. Amazing.) Maybe I'll try Otter for a few days until a bugfix comes out.

It's not you. I've taken to resetting it when I wake up because it grows laggier over time.

Depends on the site. I kinda think some of them (Amazon is a real offender for this with my speed dial) have to do with anti-robot code.

Uh. That is definitely a thing on your end, I'm using the latest build (Win 64-bit) and I've been watching things all day.
