The sampler on the KP3 is always slightly off and it's really difficult to duplicate effects. They're basically expensive toys. Seriously if your transitions/track selection are solid people are gonna think you're doing way more than you actually are anyway. I'm not anti-effects in general but if you use them a lot in a set it's a huge crutch and people will notice.
