I made a 3 hr 20 min mix in FL studio (yes I know this is absolutely the wrong program and yes I used over 20gb of mem between 4-5 projects). I hadn't really done anything like this before, and I'm not really sure why I did it, except I thought the songs were cool and wanted to see if I could connect them. The second half is probably better than the first half, but the mix sorta goes from: chill house -> house -> tchami style deep house -> electro -> trap. It moves tempo a fair bit There are a bunch of surprises, some lovely edits, unreleased songs (I poorly cut out Pete Tong from the Zhu - Guitar ID) and rips, and a lot of mastubatory long parts. I would really appreciate if someone could listen to this because now that I finished it I really don't have anyone to show or know what to do with it. Harley C posted:No thanks! If you're looking for critique then make smaller mixes where you try to show technical skill (not in FL studio preferably). If you want people to listen to it, try to make it appealing in some form. I don't think anyone really wants to hear a 3 hr 20 mix of random genres that you threw together. Remember listening to a mix isn't really a small task let alone a 3 hour one. You would be better making 30-1h mixes that flow well and are marketable! Someone might come in and say it was great and I'm a stupid rear end in a top hat but I'm just trying to help with my opinions on this. My bad, wasn't really asking for critique, and I certainly didn't expect any after skimming through this thread!
