Sure why not I'm looking for a change of venue anyway.

Location: Currently Vermont but I'm looking to move to the Midwest. By that I mean more populated areas in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or any of the bigger places in the Dakotas, Sioux Falls being at the top of the list.

Education: BS in Marketing (2008) and a BA in History with a Psychology Minor (2004)

Experience: Currently working for AT&T as a Retail Sales Consultant in one of the busiest markets in the country and have been for going on six months. Former Collections Agent for the Louisiana Department of Revenue. Four years as a student worker.

Why the switch ? I'm looking for a marketing job. Anything that's not putting flyers on cars. Basically account management, or research anything of that sort. I know that's a wide area but I enjoy the subject as a whole really. My current issue is there is nothing to promote into in my current job/location and I want to work in my degree area and get out of the middle of nowhere.

Reach me At qlebeau(at)yahoo(dot)com for the full resume and contact information.

In case anyone else is interested,

The Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University is actively seeking a resident fellow to join the Center immediately and lead its ongoing project examining the role of broadband access in society and the policy decisions that affect its nature. Working closely with the project leadership and others in the Berkman community, the fellow will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the broadband project, including: shaping research questions and focus, reviewing extant literature, supervising research assistants, performing data analysis, writing case studies, coordinating with outside researchers and soliciting input, communicating with entities like the FCC, monitoring new activity in the space, and relationship-building. In particular, through early fall of 2009, Berkman will assist the Federal Communications Commission in reviewing worldwide broadband studies, and the fellow's first and immediate responsibilities will be joining affiliated project researchers in finalizing and bringing to fruition this review. The project is a collaborative effort including Harvard faculty, Berkman Center fellows, and student researchers. This fellowship is also positioned for dynamic participation in the broader Berkman Center Fellowship Program, including interacting with, supporting, and learning from and with fellow fellows and the larger Berkman community. As with all Berkman appointments, this is a term position ending June 30, 2010. Continuation is contingent on program needs and resource considerations.

Requires Bachelor's Degree with strong background in communications policy.

Looking for a Job

Right now I'm probably only a few days away from being laid off from the firm I'm working for right now. We've been informed that some lay offs are pretty much eminent to keep the company afloat in this economy and right now I'm pretty much the bottom of the pecking in terms of seniority.

That being said, my credentials are as follows.

Location: Orlando, FL

Education: Graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan in April 2008.

Work Experience: Just over a year of experience in the field. I presently...for the time being...work for a traffic engineering firm. Prior to that I worked in a grocery store for 8 years throughout high school and college.

I'm currently looking for something still in the engineering field that would be competitive with what I'm currently making (50k).

Looking for a job
I'm a teacher who can't get his career off the ground - lost out on several positions I interviewed for this summer to "someone with more experience"

Location
Santa Clara County or San Francisco

Education
BA in History from UC Irvine, 2006; Single Subject Teaching Credential in the Social Sciences content area from UC Irvine, 2007

Work Experience
Since receiving my teaching credential I've been hired to a school twice - both times mid year. In January 2008 I was hired to teach 2 classes (which was expanded to 4) in San Francisco USD and in January 2009 I was hired as a long-term substitute to co-teach a 3rd grade class as it had exceeded its 20:1 student to teacher ratio. Between those times I worked as an Office Specialist for Santa Clara County's District Attorney's Office where I filed paperwork and copied evidence for the defense.

Looking for
Anything. I'm at a point where I can no longer go the process of getting hired and released from a school every 6-9 months - summer vacation isn't very fun once you realize that it means you are unemployed, so I am not opposed at all to getting out of the teaching game altogether (at least for now).

At this point I don't really care about industry anymore, but before I was targeting consulting firms, especially economic consulting. I suppose most of the jobs I'm interested in have "analyst" in the title.

Looking for a job - Cincinnati Ohio area.

I have a little experience in a lot of different things, but find that I keep coming up just a little short on anything I look at.

My only real specialty is wireless communications electronics. 5 years experience repairing cellular handsets, 1 year experience working on cell towers and network equipment.

Also, 4 years experience as an avionics technician with the USAF working on all sorts of radios and radar. Have FCC GROL (w/ radar endorsement), but not A&P license.

Some experience with industrial machinery and industrial electrical and PLC electronics, but a job in this category would probably have to be as an apprentice to a more experienced individual.

I know this is a pretty vague posting, but at this point I'd be willing to take drat near anything not customer service or sales related that pays >$10 an hour.

Looking for a job

My Dad recently got laid off by Gap, wondering if anyone has an opening for any sort of SAN or server system architect.

He designed and maintained a lot of the storage systems for Gap's online store. He's worked mostly as a SAN Solutions Architect for EMC, NetApp, and various government organizations. His job experience (if anyone's interested I'll get you two in contact with an actual resume) goes all the way back to IBM in the 80s when UNIX first began to be developed. Easily 20 years' experience creating and maintaining high end multiple-redundancy storage systems.

He's in Columbus, Ohio now but with me being in college location isn't too big of a deal. Apologies for the off-format post, this is more to get him in contact with possible employers.

I am looking for a receptionist/office manager/secretary/proof reader/assistant to everyone. Duties include answering the phones, typing and proofing audit reports, fetching supplies for the break room, mailing things, faxing things, binding thing together, copying thing, basically being a slave to an office full of cranky CPAs. You will have a lot of down time followed by times where you will be expected to do 10 hours of work in 1 hour. It is a thankless job that is hard to do. Ideally you will be fully capable of using word, excel, and be able to read and comprehend the English language. An accounting background could be helpful, but not needed. Compensation range is 30K to 40K a year based upon experience. Attention to detail and perfection is required. Professional dress and the ability to come to work everyday without excuse is required.

If you're interested, you can email me a cover letter and resume. My address on gmail is ericharber. Some college and experience is preferred.
